Maribor (September 2011): Activities of the CESLA Project within the European Week of Mobility 2011

In collaboration with the Municipality of Maribor, the Consortium of the CESLA project - Cross border implementation of environment friendly ultra-light vehicles in Slovenia and Austria was this year present again in events of the European Week of Mobility

On 19 September at Ruše and from 20 September to 22 September in Maribor, the Slovene partners UM-FERI, TECES, MRA and the Austrian partner FGM-AMOR presented at information stalls the concept of electric mobility (or e-mobility respectively) and efficient use of energy in traffic, and ultra-light zero-emission and battery charged electric vehicles themselves - above all their advantages, weaknesses and the way of optional introduction into target surroundings, as for instance Podravje.

Grottenhof (May 2011): CESLA participation on the event »Markt der Artenvielfalt«

On Saturday, 21 May 2011, the 10th anniversary of Naturpark Südsteirisches Weinland was celebrated on the event titled “Markt der Artenvielfalt”. It was held at the Naturparkzentrum Grottenhof in Styria, Austria and discussed e-mobility as one of its central topics.

FGM-AMOR and TECES, as partners in the CESLA project, participated in the event with a range of activities. The basic purpose of participating in the event was, of course, to encourage the use of environmentally-friendly forms of transportation and ultra-light electric vehicles in the tourism environment of wine roads, as well as stakeholder networking in the field of tourism and SMEs.

Maribor (May 2011): CESLA participation at the Power Engineering Conference

On 10-12 May 2011, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of the University of Maribor hosted the 20th International Conference Power Engineering, supported by UN Economic Commission within the frame of the Energy Efficiency 21 Programme (EE21).

On Tuesday, 10 May 2011, a number of leading lectures were delivered at the conference, followed by a round table titled “Electric vehicles – How to overcome obstacles with reliable and efficient energy supply?” Also participating was TECES, with the lecture “CESLA project – results and the present state of e-mobility in Podravje”. The fundamental purpose of the round table was to provide starting points for the Podravje region as the sample region for electric mobility, as well as to forge ties between interested actors and the existing SMEs in the region.

Villach (May 2011): eMobility Workshop

Organized by CESLA partner CUAS/FH-Kärnten the eMobility Workshop took place on Thursday, 5th May 2011, dealing with technically oriented topics of e-mobility. The partners participated in a range of activities at the workshop.

The workshop featured a number of lectures on ongoing projects (CESLA, CEMOBIL, Rezipe, eVespa, eKart…) and e-mobility-related issues (charging stations, batteries, electronic components...). The lectures were delivered to an audience consisting of representatives of academic and expert fields, journalists, students, the municipal administration, and, of course, the general public.
